Dr David Hastie BA Hons, PhD
Director for the Centre for the Future of Schooling and Associate Dean, Education Development

David has extensive experience across the Australian Independent school sector. After teaching and leading in schools for 18 years, he became Education Strategist for The Anglican Schools Corporation (TASC) in 2015, and has since overseen the comprehensive 5 year, Board -mandated reviews for 9 of their 18 schools. Dr Stephen Codrington, BA Hons, DipEd, PhD
School Governance and Leadership 

Stephen is widely known for his career as the Head of five schools in four countries over 25 years, and is internationally recognised as the author of some 59 books, mainly textbooks for Geography.  Planet Geography was recently expanded into a set of 10 to support the new International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Geography syllabus. He has extensive experience supporting school boards to improve their governance performance as well as enhancing the quality of school leadership, management and pedagogy. Stephen is a Fellow of the Australian College of Education, the Royal Geographical Society (UK), the International Biographical Association, and the Geographical Society of NSW, as well as being elected a Member of the Order of International Fellowship. Professor Mark Hutchinson BA Hons, Grad Dip Ed, PhD
Dean, Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences

A widely recognised scholar for his work in higher education and religious history, Mark specializes in Research direction; Strategic Planning in Schools; Experiential Education and the use of heritage in creating/ developing community identities. To learn more about Mark, click here

Dr Stephen Fyson, BA Hons, MHPEd, DipCS (post-grad), PhD (Psychology), MACE, MCAPS
Manager, Professional Development Programs

Dr Stephen Fyson is a psychologist and educator who has been involved with and committed to Christian education for over thirty years. He was the past Principal of Southland College (a Christian Teacher Training Institute) and Director of Education for Morling College in Sydney (the Baptist Theological College for NSW and the ACT).  As well as other leadership roles, Stephen headed up a Christian Special Needs School (St Philip’s Christian School DALE Newcastle). He was the inaugural Principal Consultant at The Excellence Centre (based at Pacific Hills Christian School) and is also Special Projects Officer for the St Philip’s Christian group of schools based throughout the Hunter region. to learn more about Stephen click here. 

Donna McCLean, BA Hons 
Director of VET in Schools

Donna has over 15 years of experience in teaching and administration across multiple disciplines, successfully navigating between State and National training providers. Originally from the corporate sector Donna specialises in Hospitality, Commercial Catering as well as Visual Arts and Design enterprise.
